Brooklyn Brand “The Steppin Stone” Review…

Brooklyn rap artist David Stones dropped his project The Steppin’ Stone: All Or Nothin’ , back in November of 2012. With this being a Brooklyn based blog we had to show some love and take a listen to what the man had to deliver. No lie it’s a solid project. This is the first  heard of David Stones and I must say I wanted to take an ear to his othr songs/projects. The sound of the album is really good. It feels like the hood was transformed into a handful of songs and placed neatly on this mixtape.

It’s not just a blabbering bunch of random words said with in varying cadences either. His flow is consistent, and he speaks on real s***. The production on this is really good. It’s that 90s New York I’ve been longing for…man, forget posting just the track, I’m throwing up the whole mixtape.
